Business Office

Admissions/Registration Clerk

FT. Performs admissions duties for admission inpatients, outpatients and emergency patients to hospital services.  Processes and files admission records and acts as liaison with patient family members or responsible party.  Performs duties involved in receiving payments from patients, accounting for and depositing payments and assuring payment information is reflected on patients’ accounts.  Answers multi-line telephone using departmental procedures in routing and transferring calls. High school graduate or equivalent. Previous office experience in a medical setting preferred.

EVS

Housekeeper - PRN

PRN. Performs duties involved in cleaning and sanitizing furnishings and areas assigned.  High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Duties of position require extended periods of walking and standing.  Lifting up to 50 pounds and transporting up to 300 pounds on carts.  Pushing and pulling of carts, bending, stooping and reaching in storing supplies and cleaning activities.

Family Practice Rural Health Clinic

Clinic Nurse Manager

FT. Performs the primary functions of a professional nurse leader in assessing, planning, directing and evaluating patient care.  Manages all supplies and equipment, supervises all personnel, and promotes team efforts with physicians and personnel of the department.  Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing. Registered Nurse currently licensed by the State of Texas or Licensed Vocational Nurse currently licensed by the State of Texas. Two years experience.  Supervisory experience preferred.

Referral Clerk

FT. Schedules referral appointments at the direction of medical provider to provide continuity of patient care. High school graduate or equivalent. One year experience in an medical clinic environment.

Medical Technologist

FT. Obtains specimens from patients and performs established clinical tests and procedures.  Interprets test results.  Performs instrument and equipment maintenance. Bachelors Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, or education requirements to meet licensure, registry or certification. ASCP or equivalent. One year of medical laboratory experience preferred.

Nursing

Director of Nursing Secretary

FT. Reports to Director and Assistant Director of Nursing.  Provides administrative support for the department.  Responsible for office schedules, correspondence and effective communication.  Works with all employees under direction of DON.  This position involves a mastery of office skills and the requirement to assume responsibility without constant direct supervision. High school graduate or equivalent, professional secretarial training.  Knowledge of trending, logs and monthly duties a must.  Some college preferred. Three years in a professional work environment as executive secretary, office manager or administrative assistant.  Work experience with executive-level staff.

Nurse Aides PRN

PRN. Under the supervision of nursing staff members assists in providing nursing care, prepares records and maintains a clean environment.  High school graduate or equivalent. BCLS certification preferred One year experience in a medical setting preferred.
