Billy Dayton, M.D.
Dr. Billy Dayton received his Bachelor of Science degree from Southwestern University in Georgetown and his doctorate degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, Texas in 1959. He did his internship in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and completed a yearlong residency in Mason City, Iowa. Dr. Dayton currently practices at the Hico Clinic.
William Shalor Craig, M.D.
Dr. William Shalor Craig, received his M.D. degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center Houston – Medical School at Houston, Texas in 2005 and specializes in family medicine. He completed his residency at John Peter Smith Hospital – Tarrant County Hospital District at Fort Worth, Texas in June 2008. He is licensed in the state of Texas and is board certified. Dr. Craig practices at the Family Practice Rural Health Clinic in Hamilton and in the Hico Clinic.
Stephanie Shepherd, FNP
Stephanie Shepherd was born and raised in Hico, Texas. She began nursing in the Hico City hospital while attending Texas Christian University in 1973. In 1992, Stephanie completed her Master of Nursing in education at Texas Women’s University with an emphasis in obstetrics and pediatrics. While teaching at Tarleton State University she completed certification as an Advanced Family Nurse Practitioner. She joined the Hico Clinic in 1996. Stephanie and her husband, B.J., have two sons: Jack is a sophomore at Baylor University and Brian is a senior at Hico High School. They live on a ranch in the Cranfills Gap/Fairy community. Stephanie currently practices at the Hico Clinic.
