Our Communities

Under Medical Director, Monte Horne, M.D., Hamilton EMS covers approximately 1000 square miles and a population of about 10,000 citizens in several counties:

  • Hamilton County
  • Southern Erath County
  • Eastern Comanche County
  • Northern Mills County
  • Western Coryell County

In 2009, Hamilton EMS responded to 1,465 calls for service including 911 calls and hospital transfers.

Hamilton EMS is active in the communities we serve by

  • providing medical support at community events such as
    • football games
    • festivals
    • large wildfires and structure fires
  • teaching injury prevention through
    • anti-drinking and driving programs
    • health fairs
    • blood pressure screenings
  • providing CPR and First Aid Training
    • at the schools and
    • in the communities.
