HGH Auxiliary announces Health Careers Scholarship

Hamilton Hospital Auxiliary President Debra Adams today announced the sixth annual Health Careers Scholarship opportunity.

“The Hamilton Hospital Auxiliary is pleased to once again be able to provide this opportunity to further the education of future health care workers and professionals among our youth,” said Adams.

Scholarship applicants must be graduating high school students who reside in the Hamilton Hospital District or former hospital district graduates already enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited institution of higher education. Applicants must be pursuing a degree in a medical or other health related field of study with a minimum GPA of 3.5 or 85%.

Applications will be available at Hamilton High School, the Hamilton Herald News office, the hospital administration office or can be downloaded below. The deadline for receiving applications will be March 30, 2012. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.
