Emergency Medical Services
No one plans a medical emergency. It is sudden and frightening, and what happens in the first critical minutes can mean the difference between life and death.
Hamilton Healthcare System’s EMS is a basic life support/mobile intensive care unit (BLS/MICU) service. The emergency medical technicians, paramedics and First Responders at Hamilton Healthcare System are trained in airway management, bleeding control, splinting, extrication, transportation, IV therapy and cardiac therapy. The EMS team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
There are 2 stations, one in Hamilton on the Hospital campus and one in Hico, next to the Hico Clinic.
