Hamilton General Hospital's Radiology Department is available around the clock for emergency and diagnostic testing, including standard x-rays or fluoroscopic procedures like stomach or colon x-rays. The department also has state-of-the-art CT scan equipment and a bone density machine. A mobile service provides coverage for ultrasound procedures, which include cardiac exams, and a mobile MRI service also is available. Through its teleradiology system, HGH staff members utilize the expertise of Scott & White radiologists for in-depth review of images and consultation.
