Special Care Clinic

The Hamilton General Hospital Special Care Clinic cares for senior adults with the goal of improving mental health function, independence, adjustment and well-being.  The psychiatric day treatment program addresses issues like anxiety, depression, isolation, medication compliance, grief or loss, aging or loss of appetite, and also offers many confidential services to help seniors access, manage and prevent health- and age-related problems.  Special Care is staffed by experienced healthcare professionals specially trained in senior care.  The treatment team includes a medical director who is a board-certified psychiatrist, as well as licensed therapists, nurses and mental health technicians.  For more information, call (254) 386-1800.
